For 28-year-old Jones, he has just finished a successful domestic season, becoming the 2007 Australian Champion and Bundaberg Rum Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Touring Pro Finals Champion, with the highlight of his season a 91.5 ride on Cloud Nine.

Jones said good balance was key to succeeding in the sport but heart was also important.

"You see a lot of fellas who get on but they're not passionate about it. Then you get a certain handful that it just wouldn't matter how much money was on offer, they would be out there no matter what, " he said.
