Carney's Country pride: Hard work pays off

2/05/2008 8:28:50 AM
A FELLOW teammate is a bonus to have when you enter your first Country Origin camp. Just ask Todd Carney.

With fellow Raider Joel Monaghan in the squad, Carney told the Goulburn Post it gave him someone to mingle with until he got to know the other players.

Now as the team prepares for kick-off tonight, Carney said everyone is ready.

"Everyone's excited about playing, we've trained well and we've come together well as a group. We're really looking forward to tonight and getting a win," he said.
