Woeful Gordon concede 80-points

WITH a 42-point lead at half-time the result was never in doubt as the Tuggeranong Bushrangers ran rampant over a disappointing Highlanders outfit.

Yet to win a game this season, it was always going to be a tough contest for Gordon against the competition leaders.

Despite this, the Highlanders started the game well, completing their first set without error and forcing a mistake from Tuggeranong in their first touch of the ball.

Both teams struggled to control the ball in the opening five minutes with multiple handling errors. However with the ball in hand, Tuggeranong looked threatening and crossed for opening points shortly after through a quick dummy-half dart from Matt McCarthy.
