This year, O'Donnell received the most dedicated player award for his Spirit team in U11s, as well as the golden boot award for the most goals scored out of all the Spirit teams, with 11 for the season.

Also a representative player with the Southern Tablelands Football Association, O'Donnell received the STFA U11s player of the year award.
