Test of mental toughness

ALTHOUGH the Dirty Reds suffered their first loss since the 2006 grand final last week, it is not time for panic stations.

The Reds have shown the ability to perform this season, but unfortunately put in a sub-par performance against Cooma last week.

Coach Matt O'Rourke said the result was disappointing, but he is confident the side can bounce back tomorrow.

"Cooma just outplayed us. They were more enthusiastic and just wanted to win...they were just the better team on the day," he said.

"They were all disappointed. The change room was very quiet. The reality of losing their first game in two years probably sank in along with the fact that Cooma, at this late stage, present as a legitimate challenge, which gives us something to think about."
