Swim Club keeps busy

11/08/2008 10:35:00 AM
GOULBURN Amateur Swimming Club recently hosted one of the interclub meets at the AIS swimming pool, which was also a fundraising venture for the club. The young swimmers did their club, and coach Letitia Friend, proud with fantastic swims and everyone achieving personal bests.

Thanks to Greg O'Keefe, Mark Cummins and Dominic Vu who worked all day as timekeepers, Maya Saxon for organising the raffle prizes, Melissa Cummins and Cherie Reid for handing out the ribbons and all the behind the scenes workers. Karen Ralph also did a wonderful job as announcer on the day.

The Club also has a number of new, young keen swimmers, who proudly represent their club and are not afraid to have a go.

The Development meets are perfect for new swimmers to compete in to improve their personal bests, gain valuable experience in competing against other clubs and develop great friendships with other swimmers.
