THE Goulburn Workers Club Rodeo has recorded a substantial increase in entries for this year's competition.
According to rodeo organise Ian Maher there are a total of 315 entries for the competition, which is up by about 95 on last year.
"People have come to realise that Goulburn has one of the best rodeos, and facilities in the Southern Zone," Maher said.
"There is good prize money on offer and quality ride stock and the event is neatly run. Also the fact that there have been no rodeos since EI, people are now using every opportunity to get out and about and pursue their hobby.
