THE Mayor of Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Paul Stephenson, held a reception on Tuesday August 12 to acknowledge the achievements of local athletes who have been scholarship holders with the South East Regional Academy of Sport (SERAS) during 2008.

SERAS Executive Director, Garry Lane, provided a brief update on the academy and outlined what services will be delivered in 2009 before SERAS intern student David Halpin introduced this year's scholarship holders to the Mayor who presented them with a certificate to commemorate their scholarship with the Academy.
