Goulburn Dirty Reds 31

Hall Bushrangers 0

A BRACE of tries by Nathan Hewett has seen the Goulburn Dirty Reds extend their lead at the top of the Division One table.

The Reds comprehensively downed the Hall Bushrangers 31-0 on Saturday, earning yet another bonus point win.

The first half was a fairly dour affair, with Mikael Webber and Jeff Caldwell getting on the board after some solid build up work by the Reds' forwards.

Ben Pearson, filling in for the unavailable Anthony Allport, was unlucky not to score himself following a trademark run close to the line. Webber got the ball from the ruck and crossed the line to improve the conversion for himself.

Caldwell's try was another solo effort, with the scrum half's legs still showing plenty of grunt after filling in for second grade, taking the Reds to a 14-0 lead at the break.
