SNOW, wind and rain was not going to stop the Gordon Highlanders from claiming their first win of the season.
It has been a long wait for the Goulburn side but after 15 rounds, the Highlanders finally broke through for their elusive first win.
On a cold Sunday afternoon at North Park, Gordon played host to second last placed Harman.
From the opening whistle, Gordon made it clear they were out to win and amend their earlier 52-4 loss to Harman.
A handling error from the kick off put Gordon in an ideal position and within their first attacking set of six, they were over the line through Tim Costello.
Harman had a chance to hit-back after being camped in Gordon's half, but the Highlanders displayed solid defence and contained Harman's options.
