Exchange on rampage

2/07/2008 10:32:00 AM
A TRY in the first set of six for the Exchange Rabbitohs signalled another long day at the office for the Gordon Highlanders.

What promised as an entertaining local derby became a training run for Exchange as they racked up 74 unanswered points.

After a disappointing performance against Tuggeranong the week before, it was hoped Gordon would step up a gear for the local derby. While they played well in patches, Exchange proved too strong.

Paul Robinson crossed first for Exchange, converting his try, on his way to racking up a personal tally of 30-points for the match. Rick Goodwin scored shortly after and at 10-0 Gordon was looking in trouble.
