Dirty Reds storm home

Goulburn Dirty Reds 27

Cooma 5

THE Goulburn Dirty Reds have asserted themselves as the team to beat in the Monaro Division, with a dominant second half display against the Cooma Red Devils.

The win sees them skip well clear of second placed Cooma and a home semifinal becoming a reality.

The top of the table clash promised plenty, but it was a dour first half, peppered with half chances and solid defence.

The Reds threatened to crack the Cooma defence several times in the first half, but a lack of quick ball often saw these breaks turned over.
