A NUMBER of Goulburn veteran hockey players have recently returned from the Australian Men's Championships held in Darwin.
Representing NSW was Kevin Connor over 65s, Eric Green as manager of O/65s and Anthony White masseur and strapper.
Representing ACT was Ian Croker, Jeff Wilson and Conway Bogg in O/45s, Ronald Gann and Geoff Lane O/50s, Steve Graham O/55s and Ken Briggs and Jim Edwards O/60s.
Following preliminary rounds the ACT O/45s and O/60s contested the semifinals. The O/45s lost 1-0 to NT with the O/60s winning 6-2 over NSW and progressing to the final where Queensland beat them 3-0.
