In a rain-interrupted match, the play was closely contested with Ken leading at the 31st end, 28-24. The next three ends saw Ken claim five shots to take the match 33-24. Bill, a relatively new player, showed great consistency and will only get better with more match play.

Taralga earned the home major semifinal after finishing the regular season as minor premiers.
13/08/2008 | WITH an aim to win with a big margin and maintain a clean sheet, the STFA Strikers' mission was fully accomplished as the competition leaders overpowered Belwest Foxes with a strong and clinical performance.
The Strikers were unable to field a full squad as captain Andrew Aliffi was still missing due to injury while defender Nick McGrath was a late withdrawal.

It has been a long wait for the Goulburn side but after 15 rounds, the Highlanders finally broke through for their elusive first win.
On a cold Sunday afternoon at North Park, Gordon played host to second last placed Harman.
From the opening whistle, Gordon made it clear they were out to win and amend their earlier 52-4 loss to Harman.
