Receptive to concerns: Antenna man Andrew makes bid for council

WHEN it comes to serving on Goulburn Mulwaree Council, the old O.H. & S. principle will do Andrew Banfield just fine.

That's openness, honesty and stability - the qualities he's pushing as only the third non-councillor candidate to declare his nomination for this September's election.

Over the past year or so, he's been a regular attendant at meetings, checking out the issues and judging whether he can handle work and civic life.

"I feel I can balance everything; it'll just mean I'll be a lot busier and have less time for fishing," the laconic 43-year-old said.
