Positive vibe at procession

6/10/2008 9:22:00 AM
AFTER wet weather put a dampener on proceedings on Saturday the sun shone brightly for the 57th Lilac City Festival parade yesterday.

Vintage cars, trucks, bikes, pedestrians and stilt walkers joined in to celebrate the annual festival.

Although only a short procession this year, those that were involved put a mighty effort in to their floats and cars, much to the enjoyment of the good sized crowd that lined Auburn Street.

Goulburn's reigning Lilac Queen Kate Apps waved from her car, followed by Queen candidates Zoe Gustafson and Casey Falconer.
