Last parade

29/08/2008 10:27:00 AM
WEDNESDAY marked the end of an era for the Apron Parade of Christ Church West Goulburn.

The Anglican Women's group, who have been celebrating this event since the 1950s, were sad to acknowledge its end at the luncheon.

Almost 140 people filled the Addison Street church hall, and reminisced about the 54 years of apron making, parading and selling.

President Beth Bailey said that some 10,000 aprons were made over this time.
