Duo's drive pays off: Training track wins council approval - and national interest

GARRY and Natalie Willmington's phone has hardly stopped ringing since they first proposed building a track to train young drivers about safety.

After the concept won council approval last Tuesday the phone rang hot again from media organisations and people from all around Australia wanting more information.

"I had about 25 calls ... so I think people are starting to listen a bit," Mr Willmington said.

"To fix problems on the road we must start training people early and that's my really strong opinion."
