A 20-YEAR-OLD man was sentenced to 20 months jail yesterday for his part in a daring police chase which ended early that morning.

Another man charged over the same chase was given a two-year good behaviour bond and fined over $700.

Victorians Jason Joshua Walkley, 20, and Christopher Smith, 18, along with another two juveniles, were detected speeding in a stolen car that became involved in a police chase late on Wednesday night.

Around 10pm Wednesday, police received a complaint about a Nissan Navara utility speeding on a stretch of the Hume Highway near Campbelltown.
