City's families answer prayer

30/06/2008 9:43:00 AM
WITH nearly 2000 pilgrims descending on Goulburn in the next fortnight, organisers of the International Youth Forum (IYF) are confident that accommodation is secured.

"There'll actually be 1750 pilgrims coming," media spokesperson for Goulburn's IYF, Graeme Northey said.

"Of those, 444 are under 18 (or are their guardians) and we have group accommodation provided for them.

"At this stage, we have 996 (adult) billets that have been committed.

"There are still another 310 who haven't been billeted.

"We do have group accommodation for them but we would prefer to have them billeted because it makes their visit more personal."
