SUE Buckley reckons she'll buy a few lottery tickets after her car just missed being crushed by a large tree that toppled over in the extreme wind on Wednesday.
The tree outside Centro Mall in Goldsmith Street, apparently suffering from root rot, succumbed to the 80km/h westerly gusts and crashed to the ground just centimetres from Mrs Buckley's car.
Local SES crews responded to more than 20 calls for assistance during this week's fierce wind storms.
